Just stopped off on way home for a bite to eat and food was excellent. Chicken Pasta and Duck salad. Plain dishes as you might think but not so. Excellently presented and reasonably priced. Lovely airy atmosphere and friendly staff. This place is well worth the visit

The open steak sandwich is to die for, we have never had a nicer one! Absolutely worth the visit , very friendly and helpful staff too , fire was lit so the pub area was nice an cosy when we came in and it had a lovely atmosphere all round . definitely be back again .

Decided to have dinner here, as have been a few times before . My partner had lasagne which was very dry and the top layer was described as "not being able to cut". My steak sandwich as chewy, mushrooms burnt black and bread was all soggy. Will not be back here again. Very disappointed.

I ordered the chicken and pasta dish. The waiting staff were polite but I didn’t leave a tip as the meal was served in a chipped bowl, the portion was very small, the meal was overpriced and the meal tasted bland.

Food was terrible, tasted like it had all been reheated, even the chips. Everything came out within 4 minutes of ordering. Lasnge was very mediocre, beef the same and kids chicken curry wasn't touched. Disappointing

Had the misfortune to go into cooneys today had some food charged 14.95 for sausages and chips when I rang and after leaving and checking the receipt they told me that's the price of adult portion when queried that a portion of chips was 3.95 and how they could charge nearly 11 euro for a portion of sausages I was told that was the price and that was it never again would I ever go in there again and service was brutal.

Family run business with a Great buzz atmosphere & welcome /V fast service /great portions of very satisfying wholesome food at a good price. Ticks every box.
